Text of the card does not specify any duration of the effect of its discarding. I think that it is a mistake.

I propose the following erratum.

"Playable at any tapped or untapped non-Haven, non-Shadow-hold, non-Dark-hold site in a Wilderness [-me_wi-] if the influence check is greater than 11. Standard Modifications: if Radagast is your Wizard (+3). Discard this faction to make information playable at such a site until end of turn. 'Tell them to bring news of anything that bears on this matter...'-LotRII"
We will not speak of such things even in the morning of the Shire.

I agree with the changes. Unlike Nazgul hazards, this faction does not become an "event," which is a game term that we have rules for.

I would guess that most people play this "until the end of the turn" but I could see arguments as it is a faction, not an event. I am in favor of the changes.

For what it is worth, CoE #21 interpreted this as an end of turn duration.
It is not our part here to take thought only for a season, or for a few lives of Men, or for a passing age of the world.
One family of busy dwarves with hammer and chisel might mar more than they make---or one online community. Cautious skill!
