I have a question regarding to the rules with 1-deck/2-deck G.O. and Time called by judge at the end of the game. I would like to know which rule is primary and why?

Example:

During last few minutes I am counting that there is a 1-2 min to finish the game (my oponent started). When I give him the turn to and then judge says Time can I take the extra turn or not when decks were drew up (after anouncement Time not before)?

Judge says time before both deck were drew up. Few min later my oponent finishes his deck. Do I have a right to take extra turn when both decks were drew up? I would say yes If the decks were finished after the "Time" then I shall have possibility to use my last turn regardless the decks were finished or not due to the Time rule.

If not why not? This happened to me 1st time :-) I always won or lost before

Thx for help

When time is called by a judge,

If it's Player A's turn and he started, then Player B gets 1 final turn.

If it's Player A's turn and Player B started, the game ends at the end of Player A's turn.

So the rule with Time ignores if anybody after drew up his deck? Hmm I lost on Lure because judge said othervise :-( I should have had turn (my oponent started).

Time was called by judge and 1min after during my oponent turn he drew up his deck. They convinced me I can not take my last turn :(

Next time

thx Jiri

2-deck time limit is 80 minutes. When the judge have to inform about "the last turn" ?

1) after 80 minutes
2) or at any time before in his oppinion to finish the round in time?

I wasnt aware this happened, and I cannot recall making such a ruling. If I did I was in err.
Only thing that is more important than time, is the fact that both players exhaust twice, which per rules definition ends the game inmediately.

He or she should announce the time approximately 10 or 15 minutes before final time will be called. When the time limit is reached according to the official time keeping device, play of each game continues until: the player who went second in the game finishes a turn (i.e., until both players have played the same number of turns); or until the End-of-Game is called normally according to the rules. After the player who went second finishes his or her turn, the End-of-Game begins automatically, regardless of marshalling point totals.

Ok, this happened in my minion sealed game against Jiri on Saturday's minion sealed. I played fist, Jiri exhausted his deck, then in my turn I exhausted mine, so by end-of-game rules (really, it's in the rules) game ends inmediately regardless time available or who played first:
When each play deck has been exhausted once, the council starts at the end of the current turn.

Yes, and for 2-deck games the same happens when both decks have been exhausted twice.

Generaly I do not complain I am not angry at all wtih anybody. I would like to know it for future.
I can count in future If there is a space when time is called by judge. I would not draw to many cards the turn before or in case I want to quict the game in my turn as I have more MP, then I do the best to draw a lot.

Regardless the answer is I wish to know which rule is the primary. Time or deck is finished?

Thx Jiri

The council starts at the end of the turn when both decks have exhausted the required number or times, regardless of whether or not time has been called.
