How about Our Own Wolves?
Magic. Spirit-magic. Playable on a company with a spirit-magic using character facing an attack. Each wolf ally (War-wolf, War-warg, or The Warg-king) receives +3 prowess against the attack. Following the attack, the controller of each wolf ally faces an attack: (no type) one strike with the ally's normal prowess +3. If the strike of an attack is successful, discard the wolf-ally. Unless he is a Ringwraith, the spirit-magic-using character makes a corruption check modified by -3.
When cc takes place (and when effect of tapping in support to cc is resolved)? After or before resolving of attacks?
We will not speak of such things even in the morning of the Shire.

When it resolves:

1) Each wolf ally receives +3.
2) A passive condition is set up for when the attack ends that the controller of each wolf ally faces an attack.
3) The cc occurs.

The attack happens.

The passive condition set up by 2) is triggered.

I think. :)

A passive condition causes an action to happen as stated on a card already in play. Saying strictly.

Therefore short-event cannot set passive condition.

I understand that it is working like Greed or Rumor of Wealth.

I told you I have no clue how passive conditions work. :)
