How useful are cards like Sleepless Malice?

Hi all,

I'm wondering on the usefulness of cards like Sleepless Malice. If DoN is not in play it seems the use of this card is pretty limited. It allows you to play ONE undead creature that doesn't count against the hazard limit but in order to be able to do this you have to play this card which counts as one against the hazard limit. So where is the gain? Or am I missing something?

Greetings and thanks,

Without DoN is working vs multiple small companies, in my Undead deck (3x DoN, 3xTwilight, 3x Plague of Wights) was very very useful!
cheers!

Interesting is way in which it is worded:
"One Undead hazard creature against each company doesn't count against its hazard limit".

How about companies having multiple m/h phases? May be effect of Sleepless Malice used only once against such companies?
