Sojourn vs automatic attacks?

Was the ability to play Sojourn in the Shadows on automatic attacks ever ruled upon or decided?

I remember there being some discussion about the validity of using these "strike evasion" cards to skip through automatic attacks, but I can't recall if an successful outcome was ever reached or an official ruling released...

Thanks

Unless someone comes up with a very clever way to read the restrictions on a company facing auto-attacks, Sojourn in shadows, along with many other cards, is not playable against an automatic-attack.

We on the NetRep have yet to satisfy ourselves that this is the only way to understand the limitations, and, since making such a ruling would in our opinion be harmful to the metagame by reducing the number of available resource strategies, we are looking further into the matter before making a ruling.

So in the meantime until a ruling is officially released one way or another it's not possible to use Sojourn in Shadows on an automatic attack?

Correct. As stated in the current rules, you can't use it sadly :(
