Long Grievous Siege vs Off To The Side

Certain cards and effects require other cards to be placed off to the side. Such cards are kept with the host event which caused the effect. Any card placed off to the side cannot be targeted or otherwise affected by the game except by cards that specifically affect cards placed off to the side. Cards placed off to the side are in play for purposes of uniqueness. Unless otherwise stated, when a host event is discarded, cards placed off to the side with the host are also
discarded.
Place a Border-hold from your location deck "off to the side" with this card . . . all versions of the Border-hold gain an additional automatic-attack: same type as your target faction 5 strikes with 9 prowess (detainment against your companies).
Under what circumstances is it possible for one of you companies to face this attack, or have I misunderstood Off To The Side?

Host resource affects all versions of site. In some edge cases it is possible, that my company will face AA (or copy of AA) of opponent's version of the site:
- If my company's is redirected to opponent's version by Chance of Being Lost, or Winds of Wrath,
- if some of my characters are imprisonend at opponent's version. Then I don't have my copy of site in LD and I'm allowed to move to the opponent's site.
(copy of AA may be created by Tidings of Bold Spies)
