I can't think of any way, offhand. It's possible to turn Lorien into a through the use of hazards, but I guess improvement for Barad-dur is out of the question.

Lórien as a shadow hold? You start with the Balrog, of course, but what cones next?

Alternatively, you can use the Witch-King of Angmar for the last step.

I find it funny that it works using Choking Shadows that will block the sight of a new moon.
That is like Frodo with Narsil+Anduril or Halbarad with the One Ring.
