Dragon's Hunger
If I am played a Dragon/Drake as the last hazard for a company, and I play Dragon's Hunger, with the result of my opponent discarding another creature from his hand and reducing the hazarl limit by one... will it auto-fizzle the Dragon/Drake played?
C'mon, not the Elves of Lindon AGAIN...

No.
In order for the Dragon/Drake attack to exist, the hazard must have already resolved. Once a hazard is successfully resolved, the hazard limit is not checked for that hazard again, as checking the hazard limit is part of the resolution process.
So:
Hazard Declared (limit is checked here to make sure the hazard can be declared at all).
. . .
. . .
Hazard Resolves (limit is checked here to make sure the hazard can still resolve).
Now the attack is created, and you can play Dragon's Hunger. But the hazard limit no longer has an effect on the hazard already successfully played.

The game is flawed, but this does not mean it cannot be loved.
