Is this (still?) accurate? I haven't been able to find anything about this pre-assignment in the CRF / CoL Tournament Policy, so just wondering what the standard is.CoE #57 wrote:The character draft rules state that after the draft, up to 10 character cards may be included in the deck. How is this handled in tournaments? Are you allowed to include any characters after each draft, or do you use a preconstructed set of 10 characters in every game throughout the tournament?
*** The 10 characters in your deck at the beginning of play must be either leftovers from the draft, or characters pre-assigned to the play deck.
The CoL Touranment Policy posted at meccg.net instead says:
and says nothing to clarify what the characters from outside the pool are restricted to, nor whether this "put"ting is in addition to or replacing the normal 10 non-avatar characters that may normally be in the construction of a main deck.CoL Tournament Policy wrote:When players are finished, each may put up to ten characters into their deck, including characters from his starting pool that did not end up in the starting company.
There is this:
CRF wrote: If a character from the starting pool is put in the deck after the character draft it always counts against the 10 character limit. [Non-tournament rule: If a character is put in the deck due to duplication in the starting company, then it does not count against the 10 character limit.]
