Shelob AA at her Lair

Just for talking, but... shouldn't the fact of having Last Child of Ungoliant in play make the 2nd AA at Shelob's lair dissapear? (something similar to having Balrog of Moria in play and the 2nd AA at the Under Gates).

Hmmm. Does having the avatar of the Balrog in play cancels the 2nd AA at the Under Gates? Not sure about that either...

The Under-gates is a mess, since it's possible for the Balrog to attack even if he's currently dead or stomping away at a Dwarf Hold somewhere.

Just as the default dragon auto-attacks in the northeast don't represent unique dragons as such, the default auto-attack of (presumably Minion) Shelob's Lair is not actually Shelob.

Is this true? The METD rules indicate that if any manifestation of a unique dragon is defeated/removed, the automatic attack for that dragon's lair also goes away. In other words, presumably that automatic attack IS a representation of that dragon.

The dragon automatic attacks are associated with particular dragons by the game rules. But the automatic attacks are not actually manifestations.

The under-gates tries to get fancy.

It makes no sense, but that's the unfortunate truth for many of the game's mechanics.
