1.
I doubt whether "CRF, Errata (Cards), Chance of Being Lost" is precise.
I do not see a reason for which a site path of company moving from Bree to Weathertop and redirected to The White Towers would change.
I would say rather "Chance of Being Lost can change a site path of target company".

2.
Can Chance of Being Lost extend a site path of company over six regions?

3.
What about a company moving from Bree to Old Forest and redirected to The White Towers?
Is its site path shortened or extended (and containing Arthedain two times)?
We will not speak of such things even in the morning of the Shire.

Maybe the "your" is referring to the company's site's site path? Otherwise Chance of Being Lost seems strangely to have been ruled differently from Winds of Wrath:
CoE #11 wrote: 6. Take Winds of Wrath: "Playable only if Doors of Night is in play. Replace the new site card of a moving company with a Coastal Sea in its site path with a card from your location deck that has a Coastal Sea in its site path."
Q: Does the company's site PATH change, or is it comprised of the same regions & symbols it originally was?

*** The site path of the company stays the same but the destination site and the site's site path changes.
CoE #27 wrote:Re: Winds of Wrath
Does the site path for the moving company change? E.g: A company going to Isles of the dead that Live is blown to Urlurutsu Nurn (taken from this list), can hazards be played keyed to nurn (or to the dark-domain)?. If the site path changes, which player decides the regions the company moves through?

*** The site's site path and destination site changes to the new site, but the company's site path stays the same. You may key hazards to the region that the new site is in.
If it is the company site path that is modified:

2. Yes. The company is not using effects that allow additional regions cards to be laid down, their hazard player is, so the max-six rule wouldn't apply.

3. CoE previously stated that the same region cannot appear in a company's site path more than once. I would think this would still apply.

Adding to the list:

4. What happens if a Ringwraith's company is forced to move into a Coastal Sea region? Perhaps this is why the company's site path must be modified, otherwise the poor Ringwraith (a.k.a Dwar) could be stranded?

CRF wrote:Chance of Being Lost and Winds of Wrath: You may play these cards against any
opponent who is using the same type of location deck (hero sites or minion sites)
as yourself.
The CRF entry should be revised.

FW player does not use the same type of location deck as Wizard, Ringwraith, Barlog players.
Ringwraith does not use the same type of location deck as Barlog player.

ICE traditionally did not address an issue where it is actually lying.
Actual issue is whether an opponent's company could otherwise use the site card played in result of Chance of Being Lost.
Detailed things that need to be answered are questions:
- whether to take into account a presence of other version of the site in play used by opponent (if used against FW),
- whether to take into account a presence of any version of the site in discard pile of opponent.

BTW. Dwar may be imprisoned at site in Coastal Sea region anyway.
(if liberated, then the Girdle of Radagast on a site in the same or nearby region will make him happy)

This cannot happen to a Ringwraith's company by effect of Chance of Being Lost of by Winds of Wrath per "USING MELE WITH METW - CARD EFFECT LIMITATIONS."

This CRF statement is referencing Wizard vs Ringwraith games and "USING MELE WITH METW - CARD EFFECT LIMITATIONS." It does not cover games with a Fallen Wizard but that context is missing from the CRF.

Question: I find the wording of Chance of Being Lost a bit confusing. If the roll is over 6, who chooses the new site, the hazard player or the owner of the affected company?
Answer: The hazard player.

Follow-up Question: What happens if it's a Wiz-vs.-RW-game? Does the hazard player choose a Site from his own deck or from the deck of the player who owns the lost company? (The first would be a bit strange - Overt company arrives at Bag End after being lost: "Let's take care of those poor, lost Orcs...".
Follow-up Answer: This is one of the cards that you are not supposed to use against a Ringwraith deck if you are playing a Wizard. See p.76 of the MELE rulebook.

I'm having to guess what point you are trying to make again.

Are you trying to say that minion opponents don't have access to Coastal Sea Regions? Or that they don't have access to METW hazards? Or???

Explain how Dwar even could get stranded:

I was thinking of something like:
1) Dwar Unleashed allows Dwar to use region movement to Pelagir
2) minion opponent plays Chance of Being Lost and succeeds
3) minion opponent replaces Pelagir with Tolfalas

If the CRF entry for Chance of Being Lost were only referring to the site's site path being changed, Dwar would arrive successfully but then not be able to move away from Tolfalas because of MELE-"A Ringwraith may not use a site path that contains Coastal Seas regions."

Ok. I was missing the part assuming where the "site path" being changed is assumed to be the site's site path. I don't think the CRF is written for site cards, they don't read. "Your site path" is not addressing site cards. A company is a player's company. "Your" seems to refer to the player's company's site path.

When a replacement site is played in a different region, the resource player will need to verify adjacency of the new region replacementusing a map or region cards. If the new region of the replacement site is already in the company's site path, it seems easy enough to remove the region-type of the original new site's region from the company's site path. If the region of the replacement site was not already in the copmany's site path, then its region-type could be added.

If a company uses starter movement from Rivendell to Dunnish Clanhold, they take the East Road to the Greenway.
