Cards stored at non-Wizardhaven sites

Say I - as a FW Gandalf player - store Book of Mazarbul at Blue Mountain Dwarf-hold while it is a Free-hold. Later I turn the site into a Wizardhaven with Chambers in the Royal Court. Will it be worth 5 MP to me (if Legacy of Smiths is in play)? Or would it be worth no MP at all because when it was stored the site was a Free-hold?
So, when is the 'stored'-status checked? Only at the moment you store a card or is the card considered stored for the rest of the game?

I think that "Only at the moment you store a card". Otherwise turning Wizardhaven into a site of other type would cause loss of MPs for FW player immediately.

You still get the MPs. What matters is what the site was when they were
stored, not what the site is now.

It only matters what the site was when the card was stored, not what
the site is now.
