When playing a fell rider what prowess bonus counts

Ahkorahil has +1 prowess in fell rider mode. Does this mean it overrides the +2 stated on the Fell Rider or is it an additional +1 (so +3 in total)

From where the concept " it overrides the +2 stated on the Fell Rider"?
