"lucky search":

is the item tapping the site?
what says "cannot be canceled" for the following attack? can an item cancel this attack or does it interrupt the chain of events?
may any non-special item be played at this site then? like... a hoard-item at moria.

The lucky searched item does not tap the site, and Lucky Search can be played at an already tapped site, which means that you can play Lucky Search at an untapped site, then normally play an item from your hand.

The strike faced by the lucky searcher cannot be canceled by any means: halfling stealth, noble hound and similar cards/effects cannot be used to avoid the strike created by Lucky Search.

Lucky Search can grab hoard items. If you had in mind something which has to do with Enruned Shield you got it right.
Unfortunately this trick was already invented long time ago...
