I am feeling the love!

Just for what it is worth, I also am taking the approach of using METW-only, and Starter Rules. And I can actually see that lasting me for a very long time.

But this is clearly a very different situation from what most experienced players are interested in, i.e., MEWH with Council of Lórien Rules, and onward to new horizons (variants, virtuals).

In light of such a disparity, in fact, it is quite commendable how motivated the experienced players are in trying to cater to newbies, just from what I’ve seen on this board since I joined.

Anyways, I started playing METW again, just few weeks ago, but I still decided to go through all my other (ancient) cards and amongst them was a very nice & solid collection of the first four expansions of Decipher's old Star Wars. That promted me to look for card lists and while doing so, I noticed one thing: The SWCCG community has exactly what the MECCG one needs - a perfect website -> http://www.swccgpc.com/

Look at that, THIS is what MECCG really needs. Cardlists (with scans!), an integrated shop, a player directory with a nice world map, event listing, forums, news, etc etc etc all in & on one big and organized page. And the page looks nice, too. Avoiding looking like one of those "we need to be ultra up to date" flash-abominations, as well as looking like it was made when the game was released.

i would welcome a HP like this very much!! right now we are in the process of eleting a new Council of Elrond. so as long as this is not finished, there wont be much activities.
but this topic has been discussed for quite some time now, an di am pretty sure things will become better soon.
one of the major probelms in the past always was, that there was noone with enough resources either of knowledge or time to build and maintain a good HP.

we already got everything (and even more), but not in one place. i also hope we can get this done quite soon.
