Brian Min CoE Chairman 2009-2010 here. We need to get the new CoE elected. Voting will go until the end of the month and the new CoE will begin it's term on June 1st.

is it good custom for the candidates not to vote for themselves? or do we use the mores from present day politics?

In a democratic election you can vote who you want. If you think yourself is a good choice why not vote for yourself?
