Flavourtext question...

There is a marvelous flavourtext on the card of Gandalf as a Fallen Wizard...
does anybody knwo the german translation (as it is in the books) of it???
(I knwo what it means but i'm searching for the offical text...)

I don't have the German version of Fallen-Gandalf, or a German version of The Lord of the Rings, but I can tell where this qoute is from - so you'll be able to look it up in your copy of the book

it's right near the end of chapter 2 - Gandlaf says it when talking to Frodo about the history of the One Ring and when Frodo proposes that Gandalf takes the Ring - it's about 4 pages before the begining of chaper 3 of the book (at least in my Polish copy)

thanks that helps a lot.... I knew which part of the story it was when he said that... but I don't remember where this in the books was...
