Nice thread.
Just some thoughts on the depiction of Luthien in the game. I believe there are two images of her - 'Choice of Luthien' and 'And forth he hastened'.
I guess your opponents have been taking it easy on you, huh?
I'm kidding but check this out. It must be Beren and Luthien, right? The title and text are from Strider's rendition of the elf song.
Not the same clothes but a similar style at least.
Now, is this Beren and Luthien too? Or is it a meeting between Aragorn and Arwen about her possible departure?

I think "Diminish and Depart" is a scene from the appendix of LotR, showing Aragorn and Arwen getting engaged. The jigsaw that was sold later on bears the title "Arwen's Choice".

Good spot RE 'Many Sorrows Befall' - must be B&L also. I prefer the Donato art - but, hey, it is Donato! One of the greatest IMHO.
I also agree with Khamul that the 'diminish and depart' image must be Aragorn and Arwen.
p.s. I have the jigsaw as well.

Here's Horn of A(r)nor. Unsurprisingly Angelo Montanini's versions are similar, but Ron Rousselle jumped on the bandwagon. (Randy Gallegos had his own interpretation on "The Precious")

Some reused art, but in a different way...
The illustration for "Horseman in the night" by John Howe was (I think) only some kind of draft for the final art, never released, which has several improvements:

I also heard that the bridge featured in the illustration was inspired from a real one. I can confirm it's true. Tessin county, switzerland:
