Long time ago was a great tool called NetMECCG. For me it was best deckbuilder for our beloved game. Since i had upgraded computer to Windows 7 i wasnt able to use it anymore. Does anyone know how to run it on Windows 10? Of course im aware of emulating older Windows but its not very handy tool

Try Compatibility Modes.
Right Mouse Button > Properties > Compatibility .

cannot comment on compatibility (tried to install it on my Mac with some trick) but could not get it to work well. But yeah, still emotionally attached to it. I personally think nowadays NetMECCG would make for a lovely little Android app...

Problem is that an installer in NetMECCG package is 16bit executable that normally cannot run at 64bit Windows.
From the page
https://reactos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10988
download zipped installer available in section
InstallShield 3 shortcut .
Copy the installer to the directory with NetMECCG install files and run it.
For me that started installation process at Windows 7 x64.

AFAIK the whole installation of NetMECCG is an unpacking some files to specified directory and creating shortcut in Start Menu.
If so this is one-time operation that may be done under emulator or virtual machine. Thereafter the whole directory may be copied to location visible by host and NetMECCG may be started directly from Windows 10.

I have unpacked files from older days, tried to run it but have errors. Probably only option is virtual box with older Windows
