New tournament format: Opposing alignment.

THis is a format I doctored up, loosely based on the pairing and playing system of the Star Wars CCG from Decipher.

The basic idea behind this sytem is that hero players and minion players dont try to stop each other from scoring points, but working together to stop the other alignment from winning.

The alignments allowed are hero and minion (Balrog is considered minion).

Each round, a hero player will face a minion player and vice versa.

A player is thus required to have a hero deck vs minion and a minion deck vs hero.

The pairing system goes like this:

Round 1: half is hero, half is minion.
Round 2: Those who played hero, now play minion and vice versa.
Round 3: All can play all again.
Round 4: Those who played minion in round 3 are hero and the other way around.

The scoring system can remain the same, so that top scores are always paired against each other, unless they both played the same alignment in an uneven round (1, 3, 5).

Because of the cardintensive format, this one can be suited more for online play than real life, due to the cards needed.

I want to see if this format is healthy to be played, as fun or for serious matters.

Fallen Wizard (as they eat from both sides) are not allowed in this format.

The basic idea is that its always the forces of good against the forces of evil.

You can never have a hero v hero or a minion v minion in this kind of setup. It'll always be hero v minion.
