I found a this important message in trunk:

"Our server at Akustiko is closing down during 2011. This includes all
games running there and subversion server.

This part of the reporository is soon to be cleaned up and moved to
Sourceforge subversion. Files will be deleted from here when they are
moved. This trunk will be completely non-funtional. I will write the
revision number of the last functional version to this file. So you
can stick to that revision until movement is complete.

The other but trunk needs new solution. If someone can provide
subversion server, that would be nice. My aim is to put completely
playable version to Sourceforge.

Of course, new game servers are also needed for all games but Mtg.

More info on this file later. Stay tuned."

Any command???

THIS VERSION IS NOT PLAYABLE ANYMORE! FOR NOW, YOU NEED TO STICK TO
REVISION 11188 IF YOU WANT TO PLAY WITH THIS OLD REPOSITORY.

To use new version, check out the

https://gccg.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/gccg/core

parallel to your 'trunk' and other directories. Slowly but surely it
will function just like 'trunk' used to be. Once not needed, you can
delete 'trunk' and continue using 'core' instead.

If the game you play, doesn't work with 'core'. Just roll back 'trunk'
to revision 11188 and use that. Keep updating core until you see files
of your game appearing there. After that it should soon be up.

The server goes down today. I'll announce here when we get new server from somewhere and how to get there using non-subversion client. For subversion users it will get to right server as soon as it is known. Assuming that you use new 'core' from SourceForge site with the latest copies of 'metw' from the subversion server, which is going down as well.

Subversion is now closed. Any takers for either game hosting or subversion?

I'll look to see if my file server can also be a game server, but I make no promises.

Wigy, how much bandwidth is needed to stand up gccg server? How much data is transferred per day?

Doesn't need to be Subversion as long as it is some version control system. Mercurial and git are easier to set up for example.

Bandwidth required for game is small. Have no statistics at hand, though.

Wigy - shoot me an e-mail. I'd be glad to host GCCG on one of my servers.

Google Code gives free Subversion/Mercurial repository for open source projects (http://code.google.com).

Are there any plans in the works for getting it back up? What kind of downtime are we talking about here?

Well, the work is in progress, but we hope to get it back ASAP, but also it has to be a thorough approach as well, doing it right is more important than doing it within just a few days, I know Wigy will do it as soons as his time permits, even though he does not say so himself
