Those quests cards are cool. Been trying to have each Fate player use at least one. With so many player, I must create my own.

This is for Lord Thorin using Hobbits. Purposely using the first and last lines of the saga as card titles.
In a Hole There Lived questA P hero
Quest. Playable in lieu of playing a minor item with a starting company. Rotate this card 90° (or place a token; only once for each of the following if a non-dwarf, non-avatar character in the company:
- plays an ally;
- plays a race-specific resource short-event;
- plays a resource permanet-event worth MP;
- defeats a strike with body;
- taps an Under-deeps or Dragon's Lair site.
Flip this card when rotated 90%.

Well I'm Back (3) questB P hero
Each of your non-dwarf, non-avatar characters with a permanet-event giving MP in the company receives +1 to his body. Flip this card to give a corruption check bonus to such a character equal to twice the number of borne permanent-events. This card gives 3 MP if one such character bears a race-specific permanent-event.

This is for The Yellow Dwarf Lord traveling everywhere far from dwarf-holds. Need a better title for QuestA card.
Commerce of Peace quest P hero
Quest. Only playable in lieu of playing a minor item with your starting company. When you discard an ore item at a Border-hold where a hero faction or character is in play, you may take At Your Service, New Supplies or Local Hospitality from your sideboard or discard pile to your hand, then flip this card.

Fathers Sent Their Sons quest P hero
You may make an influence attempt against a hero faction or hero character in play at a B within 3 regions of a dwarf-hold (ignore general influence). If successful, you can play New Supplies (faction) or Local Hospitality (character) this turn at the site. This card gives 1 mp for each ore stored at a non-dwarf-hold B. Flip this card to take an Information card from your sideboard to hand.


This is for Ardagor avatar, but change a bit for any Troll Avatar or Avatar-less troll player.
Mockery of Ents questA P min
Quest. Only playable on a company in lieu of a minor item with a starting company, if the company contains Ardagor or a troll leader with a home site in Eriador. When the company is in Eriador or surface site thereof and either:
- successfully plays a troll faction or troll ally
- engages in CvCC with a company containing an dwarf
- defeats an dwarf hazard creature.
Flip this card and take an Information Card to hand.

To End a Royal Line (5) questB P min
Quest*. Invert this card during the site phase at a hero free-hold dwarf-hold if the site is tapped and after CVCC (cannot be cancelled by any card effect). Only one copy of this card can be inverted. If inverted, this card may be stored during the site phase at Creb Durga. If stored, it gives 5 MP and any CC made by Dwarves at or moving to a site in Eriador is modified by -1. Remove this card from the game if Ardagor is eliminated.


This is for the Dwarf-only minion player.
Break Like Water on Rock questA P minion
Quest. Minion only. Only playable in lieu of playing a minor item with your starting company. During the site phase at any of your Ruins & Lairs in play, discard a Blasting Fire or Liquid Fire from the company to place Hold Rebuilt and Repaired on the site, taken from your discard pile or hand; you may flip this card and take Gnawed Ways to hand from the discard pile. Cannot be duplicated by a given player.

New Trading Posts questB P minion
Quest*. Any of your Ruins & Lairs in play with Fortress Reclaimed is considered a protected Wizardhaven for the purposes of Deep Mines and a Darkhaven for healing purposes. This card gives 3 MP if you have 3 such sites in play. You may flip this card and take an Dwarven Cunning from your sideboard to your hand.


This is Lord Balin moving so much in the Under-deeps. Like a better title for QuestA card.
Lost Halls of the Elder Days questA P hero
Quest. Dwarf only. Only playable in lieu of playing a minor item with your starting company. During the site phase at an Under-deeps Ancient dwarf-hold or Deep Mines, discard a Drive Away the Night to place Rebuild the Town on the site, taken from your discard pile or hand; you may flip this card.

New Strongholds Built questB P hero
Quest*. Any of your Under-deeps Ancient dwarf-hold or Deep Mines in play with Rebuild the Town is considered a Dwarf-hold for the purposes of storing resources and characters. This card gives 3 MP if you have 3 such sites in play. You may flip this card and take a Dwarven Fire or Dwarven Cunning from your sideboard to your hand.

Let me know what you think about these; not playtested.

good stuff Eric & I will look into it, some could use more diversity (too close to Pursuit through Barren Lands) - I will get back to you once I found some cool artwork for them

That is true some ideas are clones of other quests. For the Fate game is large enough to ignore the lack of diversity. Will be happy if better ideas are shared. Lord Balin is focus on the Under-deeps. Lord Thorin is wandering around much. Ardagor is less of a Pursuit, and more of a domain-building, so may be something like the effect of Great Hunt, but with your own sideboard dwarf creatures, then if you defeat that creature at a Ruins & Lairs, then that site gets a Troll automatic-attack? To expand his territory? I like that idea now.

The hobbits quest can be better. The below quest is for the Fate hero Eriador dunadan/hobbit player. A better name is there for the first card. Now the two cards appear to me less of a quest, but regular hero events. Maybe something like stolen knowledge allowed to be played on grey agent, but when that happens face the site's automatic-attacks one strike at a time?

Ramnants of the Older House
Quest. Only playable in lieu of playing a minor item with your starting company. Your dunadan characters are grey agents in home territory and adjacent regions. These agents can tap to attack a company moving to its site during the movement/hazard phase, and may move to shadow-holds. Flip this card when you play Deeds of Lonely Daring on a Dunadan grey agent.

Dangerous Folk They Are
Your receive 1 mp for each Deeds of Lonely Daring in play on dunadan characters. Such characters can tap during the site phase to force the revealing of any minion agent at the same site. Such characters can attack minion agents during the site phase. Flip this card to take Draw Swords Together from your sideboard to hand.
