Imagine having a deck of four Dragon-lords against four hero/Lord players.
Who will you select as a Dragon-lord for a 3+ deck game?
The Fate game left the three Withered Heath dragons alone to
tempt visiting those sites and to get other Dragon-lords
moving.
Considered having Itangast instead of Smaug to
get the Lonely Mountain has a trophy for anyone
then to keep Smaug at Home in play permanently
after Turn 16.
