Here are the new playmat samples for the ME:NE project. There are 12 possible versions.

These are the 6 samples as shown below, and 6 versions of the same mats with only the artwork (+ meccg/dc icons).
The versions with deckpiles are named A1 to F1.
The versions with only artwork are named A2 to F2.

If you participate in MENE, or if you come to Lure XVIII, inform me via email or pm which playmat(s) you like to order. Do this before 13-2-2018.

The playmats will be 60x40 cm.
The samples have a 5mm bleed, so do not be concerned about any black or coloured border, it does not appear on the mat.

I've added 1 mat with an MP counter (sample C). To keep it small, this counter uses the Cirth runes for 1-5.
The upper row are the single units. Lower row are multiplications of 5. A marker can even use the DC Icon as 6th multiplication. Thus the MP count goes to 35 (6x5 + 5). Downside of this system, you need 2 markers. Each count is about 1cm wide, which is not big but enough for a glass bead. But a printtest will show if this works.

The playmats were printed and presented at Lure, and I believe most people were quite happy and impressed with them! Please share your experiences.

Many people at the castle who had not gotten news of them wanted to acquire one.
Thus, I will start taking orders for another print.

If you want to join, send me an email or pm, detailing which one(s) and which version (with or without deckpiles).

Once we reach a decent number we can proceed. This will keep the price down. Time-frame will be 2-3 months max.


nb. Hartmut Lipp and his sons noticed that connecting the Shire and Rohan mats together, they almost perfectly line up!

After a long hiatus, I have started to play MECCG again and am really enjoying it! I have not made it to a Lure of Middle-earth gathering, but I saw this post and the playmats look fantastic! Is it possible to order one or two, and if so, how much (including shipping to Canada)?
