Council of Elrond

Finally i can announce Worlds 2011.

Place: Warsaw
Date: 21-23.X2011


We are going to play in school in the centre of Warsaw. Travel by bus from airport is about 20 minutes. Its possible to sleep there on the floor using own bags (probably all players from Poland) but i will try to make a list with hotels in near.

We will play here school. There is a lot of buses from airport and its very close to the centre of Warsaw.

There is small parking, and some places around for cars.

For people not interested in sleeping where we play i suggest to contact me - i will try to help find something, i check and there are some hostels/hotels around, just need to to know how much you can pay.

Doors are open at 5pm on Friday.

Friday evening we play hero sealed (time isnt yet set because some people from Poland will come after work, still waiting for info. But want to start 6-7pm). Also board games, LOTR LCG.

Important fee for all

in Poland we are using own polish zloty, not euro !!! You can pay enter fee in euro, its no problem for me, will exchnage it later but in other cases you need polish money !!! Probably most imporant info - price of beer in the city is around 1,5-2 euro= 6-8 polish zloty of course pubs, because in shops you can buy cheaper

And enter fee for tournament is 25 euro.

Forgot about programm. This week i will know when we can enter this school, probably after lessons. When know it, will put some info about games. Atm i know we can play sealed games, somebody will bring DC decks, of course a lot of board games, probably including LOTR LCG (i will bring my own).

Also there is idea for no dices deck. Instead of rolling we can use cards. Anybody interested in this type of game?

I think the normal round is 90 minutes

The official CoL Tournament Policy time limit for two-deck games is 1 hour 20 minutes.

I heard that domse reached finals. Good luck my friend. They should play round 1 right now.
