Going ever under dark,
Having the clouded sky above me -
And pale nothingness beneath me,
I see a light in the distant darkness,
It beckons me in and I accept it's invitation...

Just so you can update the info on my games:

On saturday I played Minion - Balrog against Hero/FW opponents, and Hero - Hoarmurath against minion opponents.

On sunday I played Hero, Gandalf against minion; against Hero/Fallen Wizard I had two different avatars, Pallando and Radagast (although I could only use Pallando since my only non-minion opponent was Fallen Radagast)

Now I'm curious about Temujin's deck. :)
Remember, NetRep rulings are official. This does not necessarily mean they are correct.

You probably aren't playing Fallen Wizards correctly. This prompted the backlash erratum that I will link to as soon as I notice it is officially posted. :)

2nd game we play mirror match: me Etten Radagast, He Etten Saruman :D
Same factions, same company composition (troll leader+bunch of characters). Influencing factions from each other :D
He won because first played Guarded Haven (after influencing away faction I cant play it). Double factions MP made a game ;)

Well, I built Temujin's deck in an attemp of making something competitive out of Fallen Saruman. Turned out that it worked since he almost made the finals =)

Basically it's Troll at Ettenmores, and Saruman playing Wizard's Ring at Isengard and lots of character MPs. Also all the usual stuff (spawn, half orc factions, machinery) and the White Hand, which is not difficult with the troll at ettenmores. Then a small company travels from the Ettenmores to Cameth Brin with Secret Entrance to play Mischief and some ally MPs. That's all, pretty cheezy and straightforward, but hey, it's fallen Saruman =)

Hola Kikee, congrats again for winning the title. After winning the main tournament at Lure that may be the hardest to win tournament now you have the WC crown as well. Against meanwhile such a strong opponent like you it would have been very hard to defend the title in the final four!

Pitty I could not challenge you, I am still sufffering how I managed NOT to reach the final four on sunday. It was some bad luck (that I definitly had in card drawing in the last game!) but of course that was due to the savety first red hill balrog deck, that is quite dependent on at least normal good card drawing. The balrog deck I won the Worlds, Europeans and Germans with is more or less independent on card drawing because it is much faster and has more MP in all categories than Red Hills. Was not a good idea to "save" that deck for the finals on sunday (shows a lot of unhealthy overconfidence!), but more about that in my tournament report that will follow.

Here it is time for congrats. So many congrats to runner up manuel, who played strong like I expected, domse who by really good play got the best out of his (in my eyes not that strong ressource deck) to end up third and showed that he is meanwhile constantly under the tops in tournaments (keeping in mind that he not started long ago with this amazing game) and Pawel for reaching the final four while organising this nice event and daring to play minion dunk in finals, respect!!! Additionally at least his balrog deck (played by Kikke) won the title!

As said, even it hurts my tournament report will follow!

Cheers

Heiner
