The Far East (scenario proposal)

Post by Khamul the Easterling »

Here's a scenario we once tried in our group and found quite enjoyable:

Players must agree in advance to play this scenario. The task is to gain marshalling points (MPs) from cards playable in the 5 east-most regions of Middle-earth. Standard rules apply with the following modifications:

Deck construction
Alignment: Hero or Fallen Wizard
Editions: all
You may not include copies of Gollum's Fate, Cracks of Doom, A New Ringlord.
Add the following region cards to your site deck: Iron Hills, Dorwinion, Horse Plains, Nurn, Khand (these are considered regions of the East)

Site phase
If you play a resource card at one of the listed regions of the East that taps the site, place the associated region card in your MP pile. (If the region card is already in the MP pile, nothing happens.)

End of the game
Character marshalling points only count if a character's home site is in one of the regions of the East.
Resource card marshalling points only count if played in one of the regions of the East.
A region card in your MP pile is worth 1 MP (miscellaneous). If you have all 5 regions in your MP pile, you gain 1 additional MP.

Sounds really cool? Why not extending this all peripheral regions? E.g from Forochel to Khand, Andrast Coast to Iron Hills etc etc

I like it a lot. What a simple idea you've found. This could easily work all over the map.
