Explanation of the deck :
The Rohirrim
--------------------------------------------------
Deck Requirements
DR: None.
WR:
Easy: Shadowfax or 2 Noble Steed, Great Shield of Rohan, Red Arrow, Riders of Rohan, and 4 characters with home site Edoras are in play.
Medium: Shadowfax or 2 Noble Steed, Great Shield of Rohan, Red Arrow, Riders of Rohan, Dunlendings or Wild Horses, and 4 characters with home site Edoras are in play.
Difficult: Shadowfax or 2 Noble Steed, Great Shield of Rohan, Red Arrow, Riders of Rohan, and 4 characters with home site Edoras are in play. Dunlendings and Wild Horses are in play. Helm of Her Secrecy has been played, and Éowyn is still in play.
--------------------------------------------------
The principle of my deck is quite simple: play all your MPs!

--------------------------------------------------
Starting Company
Théoden (with Horn of Anor)
Haldalam
Erkenbrand
Háma
Wacho (with Star-glass)
If your opponent is playing Minas Tirith, Arwen will replace Wacho.
Glóin will be your backup warrior/diplomat.
This company does not contain a ranger, so it’s up to you whether you prefer Éomer over Erkenbrand...
Vygavril is in the deck by default, but she can also take Wacho's place to serve as a Nazgûl decoy. However, in that case, you won’t have a sage anymore.
--------------------------------------------------
General Deck Strategy
The main goal is to play mostly in Harondor. Here, you can:
- Play major items with Thorough Search.
- Deploy your 5-point faction.
- Get horses.
- Trade at Gobel Mírlond.
This region is also filled with Nazgûl, and your opponent might be tempted to play one as a creature.
That would be a mistake: you can kill it with Helm of Her Secrecy and earn 5 creature points!
You will also spend a lot of time in free-holds or border-holds, where the probability of encountering human hazards is high.
This is a great opportunity for Token of Goodwill, which is why I don’t recommend playing Forewarned Is Forearmed until you have placed both of them.
Meanwhile, Radagast will travel back and forth across Eriador, between the Haven and Dunish Clan-Hold, waiting for the faction and drawing 6 cards per turn.
(Watch out for pirates in Cardolan, but since they are humans, if your Mage’s company has a minor item, you know what to do

Do not fear Call of Home in the early game, it will be a good teleport to Edoras.

So, make sure to leave some free direct influence under Théoden for Flatter a Foe, to prevent him from getting killed by a Cave-Drake before getting his shield or mail coat!
--------------------------------------------------
Turn 1
Your main company heads to The Stone, hoping to find Orcrist, or at least a major item.
If you have Token of Goodwill in hand, then head straight to Geann a-Lisch to trade the Red Arrow for the Star-glass.
The Red Arrow should be placed under Haldalam, so that he controls Théoden, freeing up 6 general influence points.
--------------------------------------------------
Hazard Strategy
It’s pretty straightforward:
- Strike everywhere.
- Disrupt your opponent as much as possible.
Good luck!
