Proposed erratum:
"Overt FW companies are not minion companies for the purposes of the detainment
attack guidelines in the MELE rules (p. 31). Overt FW companies are minion companies
for hazards and effects that can only attack/effect minion companies (e.g., Sons of
Kings)."

Changes in bold.

Rationale:
Under current rules FW overt companies are immune to non-hazards effects that affect only minion companies.
Seems like it is not intentional state, but result of overlooking such possibilities.
We will not speak of such things even in the morning of the Shire.

This statement only applies to a Fallen-wizard player so there is no need for errata to specifically state that the overt company is "FW".

Seems pretty intentional to me. The Fallen-wizard's overt company is not a minion company. There are more examples going the other way.

A hero company is Wizard player's company, or a Fallen-wizard's company that has no Orcs or Trolls. A minion company is a Ringwraith player's company, or a Balrog player's company. An overt company is a company with Orcs and/or Trolls in it. Note that some allies can make a company overt, but Half-orcs do not.

Original rule appears in ambient:
• A Fallen-wizard overt company may attack any company controlled by another
player and vice versa.
• A Fallen-wizard’s overt companies must use [...]

If this allowance for FW overt companies is intentional, then no problem. More examples: No Strangers at This Time, FEAR! FIRE! FOES! .
When entering a site and facing AAs, FW overt companies are still treated more friendly than covert minion companies.
