Shall we play 4 rounds + finals when we have 8 or more teams?

Sure, CoL rules rule!

I have two positive responses of finnish players. Who else wants to step in for the glory of finland?

marcos gave me the tip that a guy in the spanish forum said he likes to play. I make pairings as soon the finnish players accept.

I'd be glad to play, I haven't played in years but if someone needs a teammate and don't have any other options I'd be glad to join in.
Come visit me at www.CategoryOneGames.com or if your in Utah, hit me up at Scott@categoryonegames.com and we can get in a game of cards.

Didnt play for years? I guess it wont work then in such a short time. Can you handle GCCG? Or join us at gccg anyway and play in the next tournament!

So we need either another player for Trossel and REY or we must find rules for byes.

According to the CoL rules we had to give 18 TP in round 1, 15 in round 2 and 12 in round 3. That tournament sheet would be totally messed up, but we should play it for fun anyway. Maybe give every bye 12 TP? :?

I don't think byes can be implemented in a team format like the NC. As we can see, it is hard to determine how many TPs should be given at any turn.
Moreover, in a 7 teams tourney we'd only play 3 rounds, which means that 3 teams out of 7 would only play twice. :(
IMO we'd better wait a few days for an 8th team to sign up: I don't think it will take long. ;)
I guess everyone would agree that it is preferrable to play an 8 teams tourney and start 1 week later (or maybe 2, in the worst case scenario) than planned, rather than play a 7 teams tourney and start right now.

"Iberoamerica" is the correct spelling for the Spain and Argentina team. "Ibero" is the name of the ancient people who lived in Spain before the Romans came (sort of Dunlendings I guess :P).

Good luck everybody!

Oh. I forgot (again) to add my excel sheet to the email.

If you need E-Mail adresses by anybody, let me know. Try

/whois [Player]

command on gccg first.
