Holger vs Wiet 5:1 (28:18)

The first time that my hazards are working. Poor Wiet, he fought against 3xNameless, 3xCardogan and Icedrake.
My dragon in flight-mode had good luck. And he didn't like eagles. not tasteful. ;-)

I like the rules to store my trophies for points.

Here is the complete report of game between Alfons (Valarauko) and me (Treebeard).
Decisive turn of game was the first one for both.

1st turn (T)
I went from Deep Cleft to Goblin-gate, facing two packs of Wolves.
Although the use of Flaming Torch (retrieved from Orc-pouch of Radbug), first pack killed Virsh who rolled snake eyes !
For second pack, I made a mistake because I wasn't aware it was last hazard (3rd one), not knowing orc scout count as half-character for hazard limit.
Thus Hurog faced strike untapped, rolled badly and was killed too !
It was an heavy blow because he's main character of the deck.
Gorbag nonetheless played Elfhewer.
Meanwhile, Doeth played a Wolf-steed at Mount Gram.
7-6

1st turn (V)
Thorin entered play and whole company went to ... Goblin-gate !
Angry dwarves on an hunt mode of orcs ! There are indeed the strongest : Thorin 9, Lipor 8, Nain 5 (+ shield once), Gimli 6 (having dagger), Beretar 5.
But this turn was a disaster for them.
Firstly attack of mere Orc-raiders was preceded by Orc-archers, which killed Nain ; as revenge they killed Orc-raiders.
Secondly attack of enraged Orc-warband killed Beretar.
CvCC occured with Lipor vs Gorbag, and Gimli vs Radbug.
Gimli and Rabdug tied.
Thirdly Lipor was killed by Gorbag with Swift Strokes of his blade.
9-2

2nd turn (T)
Companies joined at Deep Cleft.
Gorbag and Radbug without problem.
Doeth saved by Wolf-steed which was only hurt.
Ukog the Lame only tried, because the Lord of the Eagles Pierced him by Many Wounds.
He died quickly and it was bad news because with Hurog he's the only diplomat of deck (so Crooked Promptings useless).
Nonetheless Gorbag succeeded by influencing Grey Mountain Goblins.
12-2

2nd turn (V)
Thorin went back home alone where Frerin awaited him.
Meanwhile Gimli went to Barrow-downs and discovered a Dwarven Axe.
12-5

3rd turn (T)
Gorbag and Radbug moved to The Wind Throne.
Doeth stayed at Deep Cleft and was detained by stirred orcs.
12-5

3rd turn (V)
Thorin stores Knowledge of Enemies of Goblin-gate.
With an Unexpected Party, several fellows joined him : Gloin, Oin, Nori, Attack-lord.
They meeted Gimli at The Worthy Hills (killing some Orcs en route) where Gloin influenced Petty-dwarves.
With this very good turn Alfons took the lead for the first - and only - time.
12-14

4th turn (T)
Gorbag, Radbug and a Goblin-miner went downstairs to the Wind-deeps where Radbug discovered Anguirel.
Doeth found a War-wolf at Deep Cleft.
17-14

4th turn (V)
Thorin, Frerin, Nori and Gloin went back to home ; Alfons was unlucky with dices against Muster Disperses on Petty-dwarves.
Gimli, with his own axe (Gimli's Axe), went with Attack-lord and Oin to Isles of Dead that Lives.
Oin died while fighting Orcs and Gimli discovered Torque of Hues.
17-13

5th turn (T)
Gorbag, Radbug and Goblin-miner went upstairs to the Wind Throne ; without Flight Unmarked (drawn both too early) it took 3 turns to retrieve Anguirel !
Doeth found another War-wolf at Deep Cleft.
Urdrak influenced very closely Orcs of Gundabad.
22-13

5th turn (V)
Several fellows joined Thorin again : Bifur, Bofur and Kili.
They joined Gimli's company at Bree where Attack-lord influenced Rangers of the North and Frerin Noble Hound.
22-18

6th turn (T)
Gorbag, Radbug, Goblin-miner and an Orc Grunt went to Amon Hen to steal Black Horses.
Doeth with his pack of wolf-allies went to Dol Guldur.
Urdrak went downstairs to Under-leas to discover Dwarf-chopper.
With these movements I wanted to be safe for the impressive dwarf company I feared.
24-18

6th turn (V)
Gloin and Kili went to Himring to discover Durin's Axe.
Others went to Mount Gram to play Knowledge of Enemy.
Alfons was again unlucky with dices against Muster Disperses on Rangers of the North.
24-16 (note : Clad for War was in play but didn't had effect at this time ... otherwise score would have been 24-21 !)

7th turn (T)
Companies of Gorbag, Radbug, Goblin-miner and Shagrat, Doeth joined at Gladden-fields to Slew the Great Warrior.
Urdrak stayed downstairs to play Blasting Fire.
Orc Grunt went alone to Dol Guldur with stolen Black Horses.
28-16
I wanted to call but didn't knew downstairs MP don't count for calling, whereas Alfons didn't knew Sudden Call is not needed in DC.

7th turn (V)
Thorin's company went back home where Frerin influenced Blue Mountain Dwarves.
Meanwhile Gimli and Kili went to Isle of the Ulond.
The Promise of Treasure for Gloin wans't enough against bad luck which followed Alfons, because of Alone and Unadvised en route.
28-14

8th turn (T)
Black Horses were given to Necromancer by Orc Grunt which suddenly disappeared.
Big company of Gorbag and Shagrat went to Isengard, where they sacrificied Goblin-miner to Wolves of Isengard growed with Doeth's ones.
32-14

8th turn (V)
Thorin stores Knowledge and went to Mount Gram with his fellows to Raid the Tower in Great Achievement.
Attack-lord, Bifur, Bofur went to Barrow-downs.
They were wiped out by stirred Hobgoblins and Orc-lieutenant, Attack-lord being the only one who just survived.
Kili on his own joined them and succeeded to play Hauberk of Bright Mail which activated Clad for War.
32-23
Hrum, Hoom ! Do not be hasty, that is my motto.

Hi all,

thanks Frank for these nice in game report

back to business:

Hi guys, (these are Mados, Nightlord, and kufel & Gothmogg (but the 1st two KNOW they been gone missing too long)

I would really like to finish the tourney within this decade, so I am been, lax, but so have you, please get your ass in front of the PC to play the last games for this event,

the outcome of these games is important, as both teams can beat Austria to the 1st spot after 3 rounds,

actually a 4th round would be needed indeed . . .

Seems to be logical - with the most TP on 3rd place - but only DC logic. Also the tournament enter the history book as the longest 3 rounder played ever.....

Thx nico to organize them but now return to the roots
