Hello Meccg players!
I'm used to buy cards from time to time from people that don't play the game anymore, with boxes of unsorted cards sleeping in a closet. I fill my own collection and decks with these, but i have plenty of unused cards as i don't have many players in my area, nor enough free time to go to the nice events organized in France (i often work on saturday and sunday ).
I spend a lot of time sorting these cards into full sets and common, uncommon and fixed sets. And i'm aware that for most of them the sell prices won't worth the time it takes.
But i like this game and the world so well created by Tolkien, and i want to propose some sets to sell here (or trade), as i believe it could be of use for players or collectors, and that it could help the game itself to live. If it covers a part of the money i put into them, then it would be appreciated .
So if you're willing to, i would like to know your feelings about what you believe are reasonable prices for Meccg products.
Here is the list of English/French Meccg products i have in mind, with some prices i saw (i don't know if they really sold at this price).
And be aware that these are not the prices i want to apply, all that will depend greatly on your feedbacks.
I'll edit this post according to what you people think about this. I hope i didn't forget any product (and i don't have all of them to sell/trade for now).
And perhaps this will be of use for some of you.

I think there are also some big differences between the European and the US markets. The Wizards (especially), Dragons, and Dark Minions seems to be easier to find in the US -- black or blue bordered -- whereas Lidless Eye seems much easier to find in Europe.
I never noticed these differences, but i must admit that it might be true.
I myself find it difficult to find dark minions and Lidless Eye, and of course Balrog and AtS.
White hand is quite easy to find, along with unlimited and dragons.
Limited edition is a bit hard to get here in France.
Also, unlimited doesn't seem to attract people. I see from time to time a few sets from 150 to 170€ that never sell, so i think that a nice price would be around 120€. That makes the same 121 rares than the limited at nearly half the cost.

I was surprised myself as I have sold sets for much much less (around 100 usd). But the demand seems to be high and Me:As supply is very low. What it shows is that there are still quite a few enthusiasts, from all over the world really, that are very much into Me:CCg and are very aware of the demand/supply of different sets.

You sold 2 sets minus R1s for $400 each or the 2 sets combined for $400?Papylon wrote:I sold two sets of Agains the shadow, minus the R1 for around 400 usd on Ebay. Also the prices for the common/uncommon for Me:As are a bit low in the estimate above.
Sorry for being unclear on that point, I sold them for 400 each.the Jabberwock wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2017 7:48 pmYou sold 2 sets minus R1s for $400 each or the 2 sets combined for $400?Papylon wrote:I sold two sets of Agains the shadow, minus the R1 for around 400 usd on Ebay. Wow that is unbelievable! Thanks for clarifying. I actually remember now seeing those auctions you mention. I seem to recall there was something odd about them though.... like one of the bidders had a bunch of canceled bids, or had a deleted account, or something. Can't recall exactly what it was, but something seemed weird. So you sold 2 sets at that price without any problems from the buyers? What countries did they sell to? Thanks for sharing.Papylon wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2017 8:10 pmSorry for being unclear on that point, I sold them for 400 each.the Jabberwock wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2017 7:48 pmYou sold 2 sets minus R1s for $400 each or the 2 sets combined for $400?Papylon wrote:I sold two sets of Agains the shadow, minus the R1 for around 400 usd on Ebay.
