Lure of MECCG VIII

The largest MECCG convention worldwide, located at an atmospheric castle in the heart of Europe. No important tournaments or championships are played at the Lure. Instead innovative ways to play our game are offered.

it´s that time of the year again. those of us who have been lured in the past, feel an itching has started a while ago. the urge is pushing us again ...

From 22-24 feb 08 you will have the chance to play some highly competitive tourneys with the top players from all over the worlds. But you will also find many fun events with scenarios and dreamcards. Too lazy to build a deck? Then sealed deck is your choice. and if you started to play just a while ago, there is no better chance to improve your MECCG skills.
Finally, you won´t find a better opportunity for trading cards.

Have a look at the homepage www.lureofmeccg.org for more informations.

if still needed, you may whet your appetite by reading all the reports (including lots of photos) on past events.

but be careful: once you are lured, you will find it hard NOT to go there again the year after and after and after ...
you have been warned!

Hope to see you at the castle!

Hi all,

note that for the DCCD (which is held on Sat. after 20.00) there is a player maximum of 16 with 6-9 sets already taken, so please email me if you wish to participate

for the GODC (friday afternoon) there is of cource no participent restriction for the number of players, but an even number would be nice (so an email would be nice)

also we loved to get deck-lists so that we actually know which dreamcards get some playing and which don't

it is here that experianced players in dreamcards can show of their skill

people missing key cards for the decks which they could find the know place please also get into contact with me

maybe we could even play another round after 20.00 with drinking game rules or something alike, if the participants do not wish to play other events (such as Drinking Game or DRagon hunt or other scenarios)

I would still like all interested players to email me

also please try to be familar with rules and the map we are using, as experience shows that this takes the longest for all to get used to

Also please note that my last rules update for the dreamcard events is posted here:

http://www.lureofmeccg.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=32

also a server update was uploaded into the temporary folder

mfg Nicolai

mark also that at least 10 seats for the DCCD event are taken, 4 more to go for sure, but unless these seats will be taken, I would refrain to build 2 more decks to push it up to 16 decks/players

I bet his plane was deplayed cause MIkko spent to much time in the whisky bar where he should be boarding instead.

Nice weekend. And Indeed, room 306 was one of the more proficient rooms of the Lure, I believe ;)

The final? Don't you mean the first game?... ;)

Yeah, I think the winners revealed 6 unique MP resources to reduce Mikko/Brian's score by 6!
