[v] In Darkness Bind Them
Permanent-event
Unique. Playable on The Will of Sauron or a non-environment, non-unique hazard long-event. The first attempt to discard the targeted hazard event discards this card instead.

[v suggestion] In Darkness Bind Them
Another cool result of this card is it will prevent a "long-event" from naturally discarding the first time round. E.g. Sleepless Malice for two of your opponent's turns! Your hazard long-events might just be ... long now, which might just encourage a few more of these to be played. Also the fact it's unique means if yours is in play, your opponent's can't be, and vice-versa...

This cards has its possibilities, but is dangerous, as snowstorm and long winter/foul fumes with this card can cause for a serious NPE.

This is not a problem cause the text says "non environment"... Jambo was previdentThis cards has its possibilities, but is dangerous, as snowstorm and long winter/foul fumes with this card can cause for a serious NPE.

Maybe you can add "Playable only if Doors Of Night is in play"? Remember you can play on "Chill Them With Fear"... (well a little strange, but you can also use Will Of Sauron on it, right?)
Apart the obvious use on attack enhancements, also Balance Of Thing can be annoying...Any good plays come to mind?

Yes, excellent idea. Doors of Night is perfect. I also added Will of Sauron to what it could be played on, since that's long-event based and was one of the main reasons for creating this card in the first place. I added The Balance of Things as an exception and removed "non-corruption" since I couldn't think of a corruption card that was a long-event....

I like this card!
...but maybe on Balance of thing is not so broken (or you add the exception for roleplay reason?).
The only thing that I found strange is "on Will of Sauron or" cause on that card you can already play "In Darkness Bind Them" without the specification and it's strange to make suggestion of his use on the card.

Well WoS is a perm, and as such it would be a sole exception to play IDBT on, so not strange to mention it separately.
Pretty cool one Jambo, I think I'm going to like this card very much, make a long event last two turns, prevent marvels from targetting your card....the hazards are going to rule more and more I think, looking at the list of (proposed) virtuals. Hope this gets playtested soon. Limiting it to DoN seems logical, thematically and for balance, most long events need doors anyway, especially the nasty ones, but things like hunting dragon's could be a drag...you can use those to your own advantage too, btw.
Pitty it's unique though, the art is really great

Is not action "Discard this card when Doors of Night leaves play, or when any play deck is exhausted." the attempt to discard The Will of Sauron?marcos wrote:a simple twilight/ gates of morning/ skies of fire/ ancient secrets can get rid of doors of night and in consecuence will of sauron, so i think it won't be that powerfull
Difference between it and discarding caused by Marvels Told is like difference between "cancel" from Hidden Haven and "cancel" from Coancelment. No essential difference. Both are "attempts".
We will not speak of such things even in the morning of the Shire.

I was disputing it with Jumbo via PM. My last suggestion was replacing last line with:
The first resource effect that targets to discard the target hazard event discards this card instead.
Tapping of Palantir of Osgiliath, VoM, MT fits the definition "resource effect that targets to discard the target hazard event".
Action from The Will of Sauron that caues self-discarding and discarding of hazard long-events does not fit that definition.
The word "cancel" is removed from the last line too. Long-events as whole cannot be canceled, only some action created by them, e.g. attack from ahunt, or returning to the site of origin from The Way Is Shut.
