Well, we have to make it official then by annoucning. What will the format be?

Count me in!We could try something different, such as a 'double alignment' tourney. I mean, every player brings two constructed decks, one of them a H vs M deck, the other one a M vs H deck.
Just before each game, players make the starting roll, and the winner chooses alignment or to begin the game. Of course, if he chooses alignment, the opponent begins playing his first turn. Unfortunately, I can't see how to play FW decks in this format
However, I'd say it should be a one-game-per-week tourney, in that fashion people could arrange their playing time properly.

I kinda agree with the format, although I would do it more "SWCCG style".
Which means the following:
Round 1 pairing is random. One player is assigned hero, the other minion.
Round 2 is paired with the following rule: anyone who was hero is minion and vice versa.
Round 3 goes like round 1.
Round 4 goes like round 2.
Fallen Wizards are banned from the format. Balrog (as being a minion avatar) is of course allowed.

We played a cross alignement tournament in switzerland last week. It worked very well. The only problem with the format Bert suggested: Lets say we have two minions scoring 6 TP in round 1. Normally they must play each other in round 2 but they cant because they both must change alignements. And after round 1 you know exactly who you might play and who surely not.
In Switzerland we played ranking and pairing is more important than switching alignements.
